Regrettable News
Here at MalachyKatz we are passionate about breeding top quality show/breeding Savannah & Bengal cat's
It is with regret I have to inform my customers that the Savannah cats on my web site will not be imported from A1 Savannahs.
The reason being, I became concerned over the amount of sickness and death of some of the cats already imported from A1 Savannahs to breeders in the UK, and as such asked for reassurances from them that the cats I was to import from them would be free from any life threatening diseases, and have proof of vaccination from a bona fide vet, this was greeted with a letter from A1 Savannahs attorney stating I was in breach of contract and demanded the final payment for the ordered cats.
I assure my customers my cats welfare & my customers peace of mind are of the up most importance to me, and with that at the foremost, I must remain truthful in all my actions.
My concerns were even more increased when A1 notified me that 3 of the cats I ordered, which should have been sent in February 2008, had become pregnant, by the stud I had ordered Soul, I was later told by A1 that 15 of the 16 kittens born had died, so as any animal lover would be I was deeply concerned for there welfare.
To date A1 Savannahs refuse to negotiate and have stated via their attorney that I have not sent an instalment of $12,000 despite my phoning there bank to check, to find they did receive the money on the 18th of March 2008, the attorney also states that under US law I am not entitled to a refund of the $33,000 I have already spent.
A1 Savannahs have refused to negotiate, refused to give me reassurance of sending disease free cats or proof of vaccination via a bona fide vet (a TICA requirement) to date.
I assure my customers that I will only sell kittens that I am 100% sure are healthy.
My Savannah breeding programme has not ceased, and is still on track.
I in no way wish to discredit A1 Savannahs and if the above reassurances are given, will still import the cats, but I have a duty to the British public as a breeder, to ensure my customers have that peace of mind.
The problems I am encountering, are fortunately not encountered by the majority of UK Savannah breeders, and I apologise unreservedly if my web site has given this impression..
MalachyKatz Bengal's
Our Bengal breeding programme is subject to the same high standard we demand in our Savannah breeding programme.
We look for large rosetted Bengals, be it in our brown spotted, or silver breeding programme and only the highest quality is acceptable for our continued success in Bengal breeding, producing show winning stock or exotic pet, time after time.
MalachyKatz are equally passionate over the temperament of our cat's, and as with the Savannahs, all Bengal kittens are litter trained, vaccinated, and very importantly socialised within a family environment, to ensure maximum happiness to both customer and kitten in their new home.
Our Bengals are subject to the same contract as our Savannahs, as we want them to be as happy as we know their new owners will be with their choice.
Please Note New Phone Number on Contact Page
No Bengal cat will be used in our Savannah breeding programme it has been proven that the Bengal is to dominant, although initialy used, generations will show through, but only SV to SV will be used in MalachyKatz breeding.
